Nevertheless, details may change – we make no guarantee as to the completeness or accuracy of AI-assisted content.
3. Registration and User Account
3.1 Account Creation
Registration is required for full use of the Platform. This can be done via email and password or via social sign-in services (Google, Apple, Facebook). When registering, the required information must be provided completely and truthfully.
When sending a vendor inquiry without an existing user account, a user account is automatically created, which must then be confirmed by email.
3.2 Account Security
The user is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and is liable for all activities that take place via their account. The Provider must be notified immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.
3.3 Account Deletion
Users can delete their account at any time via the account settings or by contacting us. Upon account deletion, all data associated with the account (invitations, guest lists, responses, favorites, inquiries) will be irrevocably deleted, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
3.4 Suspension and Deletion by the Provider
We reserve the right to suspend or delete user accounts in the event of a breach of these T&C or misuse. The user will be informed accordingly.
4. Digital Wedding Invitations
4.1 Creation and Use
Users can choose from various design templates and personalize them with their own text, images and information. The invitations created can be shared via a personalized link.
4.2 Paid Services
Certain features and designs are subject to a charge. The respective prices are displayed transparently before purchase. Payment is processed via the payment service provider Stripe.
4.3 Right to Use Designs
Upon purchasing a design, the user receives a simple, non-transferable right to use the design for their personal wedding invitation. Commercial reuse or transfer to third parties is not permitted.
5. Vendor Directory
5.1 Intermediary Role
The Platform provides a directory of wedding vendors and enables users to get in touch with them. In doing so, we act exclusively as an intermediary. Contracts between users and vendors are concluded exclusively between these parties. We assume no liability for the services of the listed vendors.
5.2 Vendor Profiles
Profiles in the directory contain information that is in part derived from publicly available sources (e.g. Google Maps) and processed with AI assistance. Verified vendors can edit their profiles themselves. Unverified profiles (basic profiles) are curated by us and may be limited in the scope of information they contain.
5.3 Inquiries
Users can send non-binding inquiries to vendors via the Platform. Further processing of the inquiry is the responsibility of the respective vendor.
5.4 Reviews
Users can submit reviews for vendors. Reviews must be truthful and factual. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these principles, are offensive or contain obviously untrue factual claims.
6. Vendor Accounts
6.1 Claiming a Profile
Vendors can claim and verify their basic profile. Verification is carried out either via an email address of the company domain or by uploading a proof document (e.g. a business registration).
6.2 Verified Profiles
Verified vendors gain access to extended features such as profile editing, an image gallery and the ability to receive inquiries from couples.
7. Prices and Payment
7.1 Free and Paid Services
The basic functions of the Platform (creating a simple invitation, browsing the vendor directory) are free of charge. Extended features, premium designs and additional features are subject to a charge.
7.2 Prices
All prices are inclusive of statutory VAT. Current prices are displayed on the Platform before purchase.
7.3 Payment Processing
Payment is processed via the payment service provider Stripe. The terms of use of Stripe also apply.
8. Right of Withdrawal
8.1 Withdrawal Instructions
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Mi Boda GmbH, Gluckstraße 57, 22081 Hamburg, Email: mail@mi-boda.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email).
8.2 Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we must repay all payments we have received from you without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.
8.3 Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content
The right of withdrawal expires in the case of contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if we have begun performance of the contract after you have expressly agreed that we may begin performance of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period, and you have confirmed your awareness that, by giving your consent to the commencement of performance of the contract, you lose your right of withdrawal.
9. User Content
9.1 Responsibility
Users are responsible for all content they upload or publish on the Platform (e.g. images, text, reviews). By uploading, users represent that they hold the necessary rights to the content and do not infringe any third-party rights.
9.2 Right of Use
By uploading content, the user grants the Provider a simple, non-remunerated right to use, display and process the content as technically necessary in the course of operating the Platform (e.g. image optimization, resizing).
9.3 Removal of Content
We reserve the right to remove user content without prior notice if it violates applicable law, these T&C or third-party rights.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including design templates, text, graphics, logos and software, is protected by copyright and is the property of the Provider or its licensors. Any use beyond the contractually intended scope requires prior written consent.
11. Availability
We strive to ensure high availability of the Platform but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance work, technical faults or events of force majeure may lead to temporary restrictions. Scheduled maintenance work will be announced in advance where possible.
12. Liability
12.1 Limitation of Liability
We are liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body or health, as well as for damages based on intent or gross negligence. In the case of slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), and then limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract.
12.2 Exclusion of Liability for Vendors
We assume no liability for the quality, availability or reliability of the vendors listed in the directory. Use of the vendor directory and contacting vendors is at your own risk.
12.3 Exclusion of Liability for AI-Assisted Content
AI-assisted content (e.g. descriptive texts, summaries) is created to the best of our knowledge but may contain inaccuracies. Liability for the accuracy and completeness of AI-assisted content is excluded.
13. Data Protection
Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to the T&C
We reserve the right to amend these T&C with effect for the future. We will inform users of material changes by email or via the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If a user objects to the changes, they may delete their account at any time.
15. Final Provisions
15.1 Applicable Law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory provisions of the consumer protection law of the country in which the user has their habitual residence remain unaffected.
15.2 Place of Jurisdiction
For disputes with businesses, the place of jurisdiction is Hamburg. For consumers, the statutory provisions apply.
15.3 Online Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
15.4 Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these T&C be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
